Where We Came From:

We spent time in the software development and IT contracting spaces — a lot of time — and several things became clear:

• Well-built software is critical
• Well-built software is not easy
• Well-built software shouldn't be so hard

We founded Capability Plus Solutions in 2008 specifically to address why software development seems to be so hard: inefficient processes, a lack of partnership, and a focus on code instead of solutions. Our name came from our experiences. Plenty of organizations have the capability to deliver good software, but just can't seem to succeed. We needed to provide both the capability and the right approach: our plus.

Who We Are:

Headquartered in Arlington VA, Capability Plus Solutions provides software and business consulting services to federal agencies and corporations in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our consultants have extensive experience in software processes, architecture, analysis, and best practices, but above all, they have that plus: focus and commitment to delivering success and partnership with our clients.
