Capability Plus Solutions has been awarded a subcontract to provide information architecture support to the Georgetown and Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (GHUCCTS). Through their partner ESAC Inc., Capability Plus Solutions will assist the GHUCCTS Bioinformatics core in their support of a five year effort under the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program. The contract includes one year of support with options for additional support through the life of the CTSA.

Capability Plus Solutions was awarded this subcontract on the strength of their work in bioinformatics and information architecture at the National Cancer Institute's Center for Bioinformatics and Information Technology (CBIIT). As a key part of the architectural and thought leadership in data harmonization and information modeling in Life Sciences, Capability Plus Solutions built a strong history in delivering pragmatic and functioning solutions in this difficult arena. They hope to leverage this experience to solve the challenging multi-institutional data sharing requirements at GHUCCTS.

This contract award marks an expansion of Capability Plus Solutions' work in the bioinformatics space outside of NCICB and broadens their scope outside of the cancer community. It also marks a growth in the partnership with ESAC Inc., a leader in research data management and bioinformatics solutions.
